Psalm 29.

To be ever gentle,

to espouse gentleness,

to be faithful,

of eye, of tongue, of touch,

to dedicate the body,

its every little action,

brings peace in proportion,

peace as perfect as the practice.

Where such a vow is known,

this, indeed, is the guarantee,

this the one undying kiss,

this the one true wedded bliss.
