The Seas In The Trees.

The sound of trees,

of wind-shook leaves,

so waves meet land,

caressing the sand,

and so the rain comes down,

striking the ground,

all one to the ear,

all one what we hear,

the one excitation,

the one vibration.

Thus, when the storm breaks in the night

and I abed, and having turned out the light,

though far from any seashore,

above my head great oceans roar.
