Psalm 19.
What good is love?
What is it but a notion of good?
What use is love?
What is it but a word?
Let there not be thought of love,
but the deed itself, the action,
every act done lovingly,
lovingly done,
a love-trail, unbroken,
from touch to touch,
throughout the day,
from waking to sleeping,
to falling soundly asleep,
well exercised in intimacy,
tired out with tenderness,
spent from the labour of love,
from the worthwhile work
of daylong love-making.
